What will be the thickness of foil paper?? Or does thickness of foil paper matter during this test????
Hi do you know who sends this cleaning agent to America?? Thanks 👍
Im still missing the explanation, how the tickopur R 33 effects the result and thus why it is a part of the test.
the product is generously added, it contains a strong base, and the reaction with the caviotation make thos large holes. Do it with only a little detergent in the water, and you will notice less damage
can you pls explain this effect?
@@petermeyer6873 I mean put just a little product, then the holes will be done only by the mechanical effect . But look for other explanations please, I am not expert
@@IsaacOLEG Thx for your answer, Ill keep looking.
@wolone if you have lot of holes with just a little dish washing product you have a strong US bath, and it can be dangerous to use it for precious metal, as it will attack the surface
What if i use only water
Wish i had enough money do buy UA-cam and delete music
Buy x2 cleaners and make it into one with twice power
I can't believe people clean records with this. How is it not destructive to the fine grooves in vinyl if this is what it does to aluminum in just a minute.
Damn, nice test. The only problem is, how do I test before buying.
😂😂😂😂
This cleaner is not working well, if it's not more then 10 sec. is enough for perforating of10 microns foil - it means US cleaner is working well . m.ua-cam.com/video/WkxAR_4tjJ8/v-deo.html
If you expose some aluminium foil to just the music in the video, it will do the same thing.
Lol
lmao
😅😅
I tested mine by putting a nice big turd in it. Just scooped it out of my toilet bowl with a soup ladle. Plopped it in the ultrasonic cleaner and left it on for a few minutes. Was surprised that it had carved out a perfect bust of LENIN.
I will pray for you sir😂
Holy Aluminium, Batman!
ua-cam.com/video/Dv6R4lZ2V8Y/v-deo.html
I put my balls in it and it made holes in my sack, i think it’s working
Works great imgs.love/iJewelryCleaner First thing I used it for was to clean my glasses with plain tap water. They have not been this clean since I picked them up at the optometrist. Cleaned my rings and my mom's rings and they look like new. Nice compact unit that does what it claims.
Ultrasonic cleaning Prise.........?
Another one can’t talk. ?
Now do it with gold foil, please.
Dumb question: do you throw out the solution after you're done with the foil test?
Thank u for sharing this I got a 40k ultrasonic cavitation device from skinn-store.com it’s been working great actually. I did your test and it passed 😊😊
I guess all of the Thumbs-Downs are for people who don't mind destroying expensive items they are considering dunking in their US bath? Idiots...
So it doesnt matter if the aluminum foil is the thick or thin kind? Test is a fucking joke.. its like back in the day the pregnancy test was for the chick to go outside and piss on some barley and if it sprouted than she knocked up.. about as prooving as this test..
Did this with mine to and it works really well. I also put one on top of the lid and it also has tiny holes in it. Didn't use wire frame though.
ua-cam.com/video/Dv6R4lZ2V8Y/v-deo.html
You want to test if the sun really shines in summer too?
This comment is so dumb
I wants to know how to operate ultra sonicator.. I need to put a sample solution in order to get homogeneous solution. Can anyone help me to do this? We have 1.5L capacity of sonicator.
Hello there. Do i need to submerge all the solution which i want to degass ? E.g. one Liter volumetric baloon do i need to submerge the 1 liter inside baloon on the ultra sonic cleaner ?
Of top of my head, I assume it's not necessary as long as you can make sure that solution was mixed during sonication
The General Sonic GS-1 is a fixed frequency ultra sonic cleaner. This is good for jewelry and car parts. Nothing delicate. The reason it puts holes in the aluminum foil is because of ultrasonic hot spots due to the fixed frequency(i.e. non-rotating frequency). A quality cleaner will rotate the frequency, say between 40 and 48Khz to avoid this kind of physical damage. If you put circuit boards in the cleaner shown they would all be damaged.
:| Wish I'd have known that before I invested in my cleaner... although in fairness, my cleaning needs are automotive parts, machine tool parts cleaning, and some range brass. My cleaner destroys aluminum foil, and seems to be fine with thicker aluminum parts as long as I use a mild detergent or surfactant in the water.
So do you know which is a good ultrasonic machine for guns? I'm looking for one, and still not sure if one will damage any aluminum parts on a gun if I use it...even if I get one from say Hornady, I'm confused about it damaging anything on guns. I guess the steel is a given, that it won't be destroyed, but there are alloys in both uppers and lowers, I guess. I wanna build an AR platform pistol, is that something that will be damaged by an ultrasonic machine, or is it the cleaner solution, or both?
@@therealstubot This video is showing aluminum being destroyed. and, a guy in another video said don't put aluminum in an ultrasonic cleaner, it will pit it. IDK for sure, Im trying to find out if these will damage anything on guns. I mean if its just aluminum that will be damaged, I can try to keep that out of there. what about alloys? They should address this stuff in these video's...Damn it.
@@1madmax22 I put aluminum in mine all the time. I've never damaged any aluminum parts. Aluminum foil is extremely thin, it's not very durable. Being so thin, and with such a large area relative to it's thickness, I assume its very susceptible to damage from cavitation bubbles. I use a few drops of plain ol hand soap in my cleaner, and the important thing is to dry your parts off as soon as you remove them from the cleaner. You're more likely to get water damage than cleaner damage to aluminum parts in my experience. I have some alloy 1911's and when I get back from the range, I strip them and throw everything but the barrels in the cleaner. I never do this to my AR-15's, I don't want to fully strip out the steel parts ( like expensive geissele triggers ) so they just get a good wipe and bore snake. I did get some scuffing on an aluminum cigar tube once, when the tube was resting on the bottom of the cleaner. Superficial damage at worst, and only because I wasn't being careful in loading it. You can get similar damage with any material you throw in an ultrasonic cleaner if it rests on the bottom where the transducer is mounted.
@@therealstubotWhat brand and model do you have? I was thinking about the Hornady, the long one bc I like the small tank to rest on the rim of the bigger tank and CLP bathe my pistols then let it drip dry, plus getting an air compressor to blow water out in-between water and oil -- is what I planned on doing. I know that seems like a lot as far as cost, but about $400 for the ultrasonic and $400 for the air compressor...to me worth it if all I have to do is rod the barrels out... And why not the barrels? I know they still need to be cleaned with a rod, but wouldn't the cleaner get most of the burned powder, and other left behind? Oh, the Hornady has at least two transducers too. From what I've read or watched, the best is an ultrasonic that sweeps from higher to lower frequencies, but thats getting into 4 digit dollars, too damn much. One of those companies wanted $5K--ok, thanks, bye. One that seemed to work really well was the Lyman 6000 and another Lyman. Thanks for responding, big help. Ive been pulling my hair out trying to figure out the best of the cheaper ones. Still like to know what you're using and why you don't do barrels too, REALLY appreciate it, thanks again.
Where else can i find good practice questions for the CRCST exam like those on crcstreview.com ?
Perforated in 1 minute? Mine did not.
You never stated if the holes in your foil is good , to much or to little,. So i cant use anything from your test, better luck next time
But what if I am wanting to clean aluminum foil??
ua-cam.com/video/Dv6R4lZ2V8Y/v-deo.html See this video and subscribe channel for future consideration please. this channel will provide effective videos as well as regarding as Al-foil complete testing shortly. thanks
Ur out of luck. Goes for toilet paper too.
U probably dont have money for one if u clean ur alu foil
ua-cam.com/video/SrYJMk4QGwA/v-deo.html
So what we see are hotspots, as the foil is not evenly perforated. Which means the item to be cleaned needs to be rotated, like microwave ovens do.
What we see are the effects of metal fatigue.
stupid. what if foil is fucking thicker, there is many foils and they all differ in thickness.
Great for getting the assorted nasties out from under your fingernails
so.. you're saying i should just add an acidic solution to my ultrasonic cleaner, and watch as it weakens the already super thin aluminum enough for the vibrations to create micro tears... GOTCHYA!
You can.t standardize this test. There are many kinds of foil. This means if hospitals use it, everyone does it differently. If you want a good, reliable, reproduceable and trusted test, use Interster's Sono Check.
Have you ever seen very many UA-cam videos that didn't have loud, annoying music with them? Don't understand why.
I just tested mine and it blew a big hole right through the middle with some pin pricks around it. What does that mean? Don't stick my finger in there? Bwahaha
Yooz people are ruff! Considering the other USC tutes I saw, this one is forgiving!
